Intention: Being Grounded/Rooted

 

For the Body

Type of Yoga Session: 60-min Vinyasa Flow with Yin Variations

Pose Success: Reclining Bound Angle Pose, Supta Baddha Konasana

Pose Struggle: Kapotasana and Variation into Sleeping Swan

Mood Before: Optimistic, Open, A little Anxious

Mood After: Shaky, Airy, Sleepy

Inversion: 2-min Lotus in Shoulder Stand Pose, Padma Sarvangasana

Ultimate Goal: Be able to keep shin parallel in pigeon pose

 

For the Mind

Positive Thoughts: I am striving to stay focused by disciplining myself to perform daily rituals and draw the mind in, the key being mindfulness and general well-being.
